At Westlife Church we believe loving God and our community unlocks potential and releases people to be who God purposed them to be. We are committed to reaching out to people in our community in practical ways to show them that God really loves them. Our mandate: to combat poverty and injustice and to administer mercy.
We are passionate about meeting the real needs of our community, by delivering practical help and care and strengthening community participation and well-being: to offer support to those in the community who are facing personal distress, trauma, grief, hardship or isolation.
We achieve this by assisting people to move from hardship to hope and by empowering them, giving them a hand up, not just a hand out, and by encouraging, equipping and supporting people in their personal lives. We also respond to other more urgent community needs with emergency assistance as they arise most recently by providing relief to those impacted by the recent floods.
Westlife Church also works collaboratively with the community as well as with other non government and government agencies to address unresolved social issues. Every day our staff and volunteers are helping to make a difference in the lives of families in our local community.
Volunteer opportunities exist for any of the above initiatives and corporate sponsorships and any donations are welcome.
