Life Journal Bible
Reading Plan

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12 NIV

Reading the bible and journaling is one of the greatest tools for any Christian. Even the kings of old were instructed to copy the law and to keep that copy with them to read it everyday so they would “learn to revere the LORD...and follow carefully all the words of this law and these decrees” Deut 17:18-19 NIV. It was a recipe for success (Psalm 1)!

As kings and priests (Rev 1:5-6; Rev 5:10) we, too, are obligated to know the word of God (Hosea 4:6) and wield it as a powerful sword. Some of you may have read the bible from cover to cover and even journaled in previous years. Our challenge is to continue reading because yesterday’s revelation was for yesterday and God has something special to speak to you today. After all, the word of God is “living and active”. That means it is dynamically changing and will continue to bring fresh revelation to you (Hebrews 4:12).

There are special treasures God has for you today that He’s waiting for you to uncover. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings. Proverbs 25:2 NIV

So, come and join us today! We’re doing it together as a church. You can even share some of your thoughts, or raise questions and get them answered on our special Facebook page for the Life Journal HERE. Enjoy!

"Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him."
Hebrews 4:12 NIV
